HI. I’M DAN THE BUG MAN.

I’ve been dealing with the bugs, critters, and all around pests of the Acworth-Kennesaw-Marietta area now for more than 30 years. If you’re here, you’re probably wondering why I’m a better choice than some of the bigger, more “publicized” pest-control options out there (who have much larger marketing budgets than the non-existent Dan the Bug Man marketing department).

The main difference is: It’s just me. Sole proprietor and technician. When you sign up for your quarterly pest control service, I’m the one who’s scheduling AND carrying out the work.

I’m licensed to do the work – I hold the commercial pest control license. I have the certifications, and I bring that knowledge with me on every visit.

No offense to the bigger dogs, but you never know who’s going to come to your house when you schedule a treatment, no matter what they say. That’s because the person licensed at that company is NOT performing your service. They’re hiring younger technicians with minor certifications, if they have any at all. I’m sure they’re nice people, but that’s THEIR business model, not mine.

Here’s the other thing: I use the same materials as they do. I know where it should go, I know how much to put on. You might want to consider why you’re paying for a less-experienced technician to use the same material in your home.

That’s me and my business. I provide free repeat visits between treatments if you see anything out of the ordinary. And again, it’ll be me, not the person who happens to be nearby today.
